Hi again ^_^,

So it's been a rather long time. I'm sorry it's been so long, but things have been going well (I promise). 

I completed another semester at UM Ann Arbor, and it's been the best yet. At last count, I have an A in Ancient Egyptian Religion, and (surprisingly) an A- in Art History. I find this ironic because I spent the entire semester trying to pretend I really understood what was going on. (Pipes that aren't pipes? National polity in trees? Oh, the agony!). I think Modern East Asian History went well, and Organizational Psychology was pretty decent all things considering (after a great deal of stress, I ended up writing a ten page final case report for our group. This was after Katie and I had been doing 9/10ths of the work, Alissa doing the other 10th...and Jemika just leeching off of us. We got an A on the paper.). I should find out the other two grades tomorrow.

I had the best roommate ever this semester. Her name was Ara, and she was from Seoul, South Korea. I learned a great deal from her. She taught me some Korean! She had the best stories about attempted assassination attempts on their presidents. She also had the best quips ("Guys tell each other everything. I know it, 'cuz I saw it on 'Friends'). Kinda awesome. Anyway, I love her to death, and I think that she and Helen really made my semester.  

There was another interesting development. I met a guy when I took Ara out for her 21st birthday, and I've been seeing him ever since. I like Brian very much, but I really didn't think it would last this long. So, I guess it's a happy surprise.

I will probably write again when the rest of my grades come up. Ciao.

I threatened Mom and Dad to throw in a broadway if they didn't come to an agreement on what to watch on the DVD player. Furthermore, I threatened to put in Evita. After they shuddered (well, it was starring Madonna after all), Dad promptly began singing "Oh, What A Circus". After I got over my shock, I realized that this particular song, introducing the whole damn broadway, was one of the most sarcastic songs in the show. 

No wonder Dad was familiar with it. Not particularly interesting to anyone except me, but there you go.
